Job Description:
Southeast Christian Church is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Regional Broadcast Production Director to join our team in Franklin, TN. The ideal candidate will oversee the broadcast production of weekend services and ministry events at the Southeast Franklin Campus, and provide leadership and oversight to future regional church campuses and production staff. This role should champion a few key areas: staff and volunteer teams that are cared for and equipped for the roles they are in, consistency in broadcast service quality that is aligned with our mission and effectively engages our congregation. This position will involve hands-on leadership in all aspects of broadcast production, technical support, and collaboration with various teams to create impactful, immersive worship experiences both in-person and online.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Broadcast Direction: Lead the production of in-person and live-streamed/recorded services, events, and special programs, ensuring seamless operation of cameras, sound, lighting, and video content.
- Team Leadership: Lead from a “people-first” mentality. Lead, manage, and train a team of volunteers, contractors, and staff involved in broadcast production across multiple campuses. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and skill development.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the setup, maintenance, and operation of production equipment, including audio consoles, sound equipment, cameras, AVL networking technology, and video and streaming infrastructure. Troubleshoot technical issues during services and events to ensure smooth execution.
- Creative Input: Work closely with worship leaders, campus pastors, and creative teams to plan and execute visually and artistically engaging services that align with the church’s mission and message.
- Event Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with the Franklin Campus teams to ensure that the technical and broadcast needs for various church events are met, including conferences, concerts, and seasonal services.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate the scheduling of production staff, contract, and volunteer teams, ensuring that there is adequate coverage for all services, rehearsals, and events.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all services meet high-quality standards for both visual and audio components, while maintaining consistency across all regional campuses and services where possible.
- Budget Management: Manage the budget for the Franklin Campus production, including equipment purchasing and maintenance, staffing/contracting, and training costs. Also leading the management of the surrounding region’s production budget’s across each campus.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the church’s communications, creative, and ministry teams to support initiatives aimed at reaching the local and global church community through broadcast channels.

Our Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Production, Media Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in live broadcast production, with at least 1-2 years of leadership experience.
- Experience with multi-campus church environments is a plus.
- This role requires residence in Franklin, Tennessee.
