Weekend & Worship Graphic Designer

Southeast Christian Church is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Weekend Graphic Designer to help shape the visual identity of our weekend services and sermon series. This role will be part of our team of designers, collaborating closely with other designers, producers, the film team, and the photography team to create branding, assets, and key visuals that support the Preaching, Worship, and Weekend Production teams. This role requires a strong understanding of branding, typography, and layout design, as well as the ability to develop cohesive teaching assets and digital content that enhance the weekend experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, is highly organized, and is passionate about translating creative vision into high-quality visuals.

What You Will Be Doing:

Conceptualization & Design:

Develop creative concepts and visual designs for sermon series branding and teaching assets.
Ensure all design work aligns with Southeast Christian Church’s branding guidelines, maintaining consistency across platforms.
Create series branding, teaching backgrounds, lower thirds, name keys, and full-screen graphics to support preaching and worship needs.
Design visual assets for LED screens and IMAG displays, with campus-specific variations as needed.

Collaboration & Execution:

Work as part of the Creative Team, partnering with producers, filmmakers, and photographers to develop engaging and impactful visuals.
Collaborate with the Preaching, Worship, and Weekend
Production teams to ensure all design elements support the weekend vision.
Support ministries and the strategic team when an all-play series requires additional visual assets across the church.
Translate project briefs into visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the church’s mission, vision, and values.

Project Management & Stakeholder Communication:

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Conduct quality reviews of all design work to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment with project objectives.

Growth & Adaptability

Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to continuously improve creative output.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and last-minute requests, maintaining a flexible and solutions-oriented mindset.
Take initiative in self-development, actively seeking opportunities for skill enhancement and professional growth.

What We Are Looking For:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign): Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite is essential for a Designer as it serves as the primary toolkit for creating and manipulating visual content across a wide range of mediums. A deep understanding of these software tools is needed to execute content effectively and efficiently.
Understanding Design Across Various Mediums: Design extends beyond digital platforms and encompasses a diverse array of mediums including apparel and more. A Designer's ability to conceptualize and adapt designs for different contexts is crucial for ensuring consistency and impact across all touch points.

Our Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience within/around a large church environment
Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one
