Production Assistant

Revive Wesleyan Hamburg, New York | $35,000 — $40,000 Full-time

SUMMARY ROLE DEFINITION:

The primary purpose of this role is to work with the leadership, worship, and creative teams to provide professional production support for weekend services and for outside events, across all Revive Wesleyan campuses. Utilize Ministry Partners, as much as possible, while training and mentoring them not only to operate in their serving positions at the church but also in spiritual, mental, and life skills. Also repairing, upgrading, and installing all production equipment across all Revive Wesleyan campuses. Reports to: Worship Pastor

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

Align Revive Wesleyan with current Audio, Video & Lighting (AVL) trends.
Oversee production across all Revive Wesleyan campuses, including but not limited to, weekend services and all special events (i.e., weddings, funerals, graduations, concerts, retreats, etc.).
Elevate the quality and consistency of all Audio, Video, and Lighting (AVL) equipment across all Revive Wesleyan campuses, including, maintaining and installing equipment.
Training, shepherding, mentoring, empowering, and encouraging Ministry Partners in the areas of Audio, Video, Lighting (AVL), ProPresenter and stage design across all Revive Wesleyan campuses to help strengthen future talent pipelines.
Become a point person for all sound-related inquiries, alongside other production staff.
Schedule Production Teams for all weekend services and special events across all Revive Wesleyan campuses.
Work collaboratively with Executive Director of Worship & Creative Arts, Worship Pastor and Pastoral staff in planning service details and ensuring all goals are achievable and met.
Introduce the organization to innovative Audio, Video, and Lighting (AVL) technology and troubleshooting methods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is committed to being part of the Revive Wesleyan Family.
3+ years of relevant experience in the production field.
Fluent with the following programs and technologies; DANTE, ProPresenter, Planning Center Online, Ableton, Jands Vista, MultiTracks, MainStage, etc.
In-depth knowledge of production disciplines; Audio, Video, Lighting.
Experience loading in/out and setting/striking production equipment.
Fluent in different media file formats and organizational skills.
Strong leadership skills in leading a team, conflict resolution, problem solving and working with different personalities.
High attention to detail, organized and internally motivated to work with excellence while flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
Able to graciously receive and apply feedback within a collaborative team environment.
Great time management skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
