We are looking for a passionate worshiper to lead all aspects of the Contemporary Worship Service while providing support to theTraditional Worship Service as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Will serve as the primary worship leader for the Contemporary Worship Services to promote spiritual growth and discipleship.
- Meets weekly with the Pastor and Minister of Music to review and plan worship services.
- Works with the Pastor and Minister of Music to support and enhance the Traditional Worship Service.
- In all ministry areas, will seek to facilitate biblical community and discipleship as well as developing future worship leaders.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Will perform other duties as needed. These other duties will be determined mutually by the Senior Pastor and Associate Worship Pastor in consultation with the Personnel Committee. These duties will be determined by the new staff member’s abilities, skills, personal interests, and the needs of the church.
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Preference given to those who have formal theological training from a university or seminary.
- Previous experience as a worship leader in a church setting is preferred.
- Candidate needs to be comfortable leading worship in both a contemporary and traditional worship setting.
