Music Director (Full Time) Discover Church | Greater Philadelphia Area Position Type: Full Time Overview Discover Church is seeking a full time Music Director to lead the musical direction of our worship ministry. This role is responsible for musical excellence, team development, and the execution of worship experiences that help people encounter God. The Music Director works closely with worship and production leadership to ensure clarity, preparation, and consistency across all worship environments. Key Responsibilities Lead musical direction for Sunday Worship Experiences Oversee arrangements, transitions, and musical flow Plan and run rehearsals effectively Develop and lead musicians and vocalists Collaborate on song selection and worship vision Help cultivate a healthy worship culture marked by humility and excellence Qualifications Strong musical proficiency and leadership ability Experience leading or directing worship teams Ability to read charts and guide arrangements Organized, dependable, and team focused Prior church or worship ministry experience preferred Faith Alignment A growing relationship with Jesus Christ Alignment with the mission and values of Discover Church
