Audio Content Creator Southeast Christian Church Louisville, Kentucky Full-time

As an Audio Content Creator, you will be instrumental in shaping the voice of Southeast Christian Church. Your primary role will be assisting the film team in creating engaging high-quality video, social, and filmmaking content for all internal and external needs. You will also collaborate with other ministries within our church, our worship team, our marketing team to contribute to the creation of work that aligns with our mission and values. What you will be doing: - Mix and master all videos that play in weekend services. - Create compelling, creative, and beautiful sound design that is unique for each piece of content. - Support the post audio workflow for our central and social filmmaking teams. - Capture clean and usable audio and every multi-camera shoot. - Be willing and able to assist on set with the film team — setting up cameras, lights, gaffing equipment, etc. after sound equipment is set up and ready. - Work with our worship team for creative in-service elements and how the music/sound design of a video can hand off to worship. - Write and produce underscores for specific larger projects. - Assist in the building of Southeast’s “sound”. - Assist in developing content creator’s understanding of sound design and audio editing. What we are looking for: - In-depth knowledge of audio recording and DAW’s (Logic Pro or ProTools). - Detailed comprehension of sound capture devices and microphone placement and use. - Thorough understanding of sound editing and design. - Familiar with the filmmaking process from pre to post production. - Familiar with filmmaking equipment such as c-stands, rigging, flags, diffusion, and lighting. - A team player mentality willing to help with tasks outside of audio. This could include learning to do minor video shoots and edits. - Ability to execute and deliver content within tight deadlines. - Flexible with creativity and the needs of the church. - A good understating of how content works with and supports worship music and church services. - Familiar with Davinci Resolve Fairlight and Resolve workflows would be ideal.
