Production Director Rockharbor Church Meridian, Idaho Full-time

Primary Purpose The Production Director provides strategic leadership for all production and technical environments across the church’s campuses. This role oversees multiple staff and volunteer teams responsible for audio, video, lighting, broadcast, and stage design—ensuring consistent, high-quality experiences that support the mission and culture of the church. The Production Director manages the central campus production operations while also developing scalable systems, training, and infrastructure to support future multi-campus integration. This role serves as the key point of coordination between campuses, ensuring technical excellence, creative collaboration, and operational consistency across all worship environments and events. Position Requirements 5 year’s work-related experience. Experience working or serving in ministry preferred. Experience leading technology and production staff teams required Multi campus technology and production experience preferred. MS Office proficiency, Mac, Resi, PCO, Resolume, ProPresenter, SketchUp. Basic understanding of Blackmagic video equipment, digital sound consoles (Avid, Allen & Heath, Behringer), Clearcom, ETC lighting consoles (GrandMa a plus), DMX, Novastar, Madi & Dante, ProTools, etc. Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills. Professional presence on the phone and in-person. Ability to be teachable, seeking out coaching and learning for growth and development. Ability to promote a positive attitude and working environment, with the desire to have fun, be positive and flexible.

Position Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight Provide leadership for all production systems and environments across the church, including audio, video, lighting, and broadcast. Oversee production staff and volunteer teams at the central campus, while developing scalable systems and training for future campuses. Cultivate a culture of excellence, teamwork, and spiritual growth within the production ministry. Partner with all Weekend Experience (worship, production, guest experience, facilities) teams to ensure consistent, high-quality experiences that support the church’s mission and brand. Develop and manage department budgets, equipment lifecycles, and system upgrades.

Live Production & Technology Oversee all live production for services and events, ensuring technical excellence and reliability in audio, video, and lighting. Evaluate weekly production quality, implementing improvements where needed. Oversee integration of production technology for new campuses, including campus-to-campus video feed systems and infrastructure. Lead long-term planning and execution of production system improvements, upgrades, and facility integrations.

Training & Development Recruit, onboard, and equip staff and volunteer production teams through ongoing training, coaching, and leadership development. Implement consistent processes for scheduling, communication, and coordination across all production environments. Empower volunteers and staff to grow in both skill and ownership of their areas of ministry. Cross-Department Collaboration Work closely with all ministry teams to align technical execution with creative vision. Serve as the production liaison for events, conferences, and weekly ministry services. Contribute to brainstorming and creative planning sessions, bringing technical insight and innovation to the table.
