Creative Director Evangel Bismarck, North Dakota Full-time
The Creative Director position at Evangel (a multi-campus church based in Bismarck, North Dakota, with a mission to connect real people to a real God) is an onsite role focused on leading creative efforts to produce spirit-inspired content for services and ministry events. The role centers on leading the Creative Department, including managing the team, providing art direction, feedback, and creative guidance to graphics and video teams. A major responsibility is serving as the lead video creator and visual storyteller, producing cutting-edge videos, creating special in-service content for video walls/screens, giving feedback to videographers, guiding their growth, and collaborating with production and other creative departments. The position involves working with the Director of Experience to develop key weekend/event creative moments, such as service openers, specials, and other in-service elements. It also includes project and task management using Asana to create timelines for video and graphic needs, ensure tasks are assigned, and keep the right people informed of their roles. Additionally, the Creative Director will lead, develop, and grow the Capture Dream Teams, enabling other church creatives to use their talents during Sundays and ministry events. Required qualifications include at least 2+ years of experience in videography and graphics, prior team leadership experience, available online work examples, natural creativity and idea generation, strong editorial problem-solving skills, and self-motivation.
