Westside Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Technical Director. This role reports to the Worship Pastor and works closely with the Creative Director to plan and execute all audio, visual, lighting, and broadcast needs for weekly services and special events. The Technical Director serves as the primary Front of House audio engineer and oversees all audio systems, including Dante networking and live WAVES integration. Responsibilities include configuring, operating, and troubleshooting Allen & Heath consoles, as well as maintaining all AVL and broadcast equipment. This position also oversees video systems for IMAG, livestream, and on-demand distribution while ensuring high-quality technical execution each week. The Technical Director manages recording, archiving, and distribution of worship services and coordinates livestream production alongside ministry leaders. A key component of this role is recruiting, training, scheduling, and shepherding volunteers serving in AVL and broadcasting ministries. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of live audio production experience, prior experience with WAVES in a live environment, and a previously obtained Dante Level 2 Certification. Experience with Allen & Heath consoles and leading volunteer teams is preferred. The Technical Director must actively support and encourage the Lead Pastor, staff, and lay leaders while modeling Christ-centered leadership. This role requires active membership and good standing at Westside Baptist Church, with a clear commitment to loving God and loving others. The position is full-time, with a weekly schedule that includes weekday office hours, Wednesday evening rehearsals, Sunday services, and occasional church events.
