About First Redeemer Church First Redeemer Church is an evangelistic, growth-oriented church that values meaningful, Scripture-oriented discipleship. Its mission is to win, baptize, teach, and disciple every person possible by every means possible until the coming again of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The church is progressive in terms of methods and conservative in terms of belief. Doctrinally, the church aligns with the Baptist Faith and Message. It is a Pastor-led church where Pastors are entrusted to minister within the theological and cultural constructs of the church.

First Redeemer’s current membership is 7400+ and its annual budget for 2025 is $11.5M. In July of 2025, the church opened a $22.5 million facility on its 50-acre campus located in a rapidly growing part of North Atlanta. Current staff is comprised of: - 14 Pastors - 10 Department heads - 6 Professional staff - 10 Administrative professionals - Many part-time, hourly, and contracted employees Because of the demographic diversity in its immediate ministry area, the church conducts two different worship services each Sunday in its recently renovated 1800-seat worship center. The first worship experience features a professional band and praise team. The second features a 40-piece orchestra and a 150-voice choir. Additionally, over 100 on-campus Bible Studies take place each week for all ages. The Production Director is responsible for leading, developing, overseeing, and coordinating all technical and production aspects of worship services, events, and ministry environments at First Redeemer Church. This includes audio, video, lighting, and livestream production. The Production Director ensures that each service and event is executed with excellence, consistency, and alignment with the church’s mission and vision. This role will also oversee technology, workflow, training, and quality standards for the various venues on campus.

Qualifications The Production Director is expected to: • Model a growing relationship with Christ. • Pursue Scripture, prayer, and spiritual disciplines. • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal, and collaboration skills. • Be proficient with audio consoles, lighting systems, and video production. • Have strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; able to work calmly under pressure. • Build and shepherd the church’s production teams (comprised of both paid and volunteer personnel). • Responsibly manage the production budget and oversee inventory and maintenance schedules.

Core Responsibilities Leadership and Team Development • Recruit, train, and schedule volunteer teams for audio, video, lighting, and livestream operations. • Lead with a servant’s heart, fostering a culture of unity, creativity, and spiritual growth within the production team. • Provide technical training and mentorship for volunteers and staff.

Technical Direction • Oversee all aspects of live production for weekly services, special events, and online broadcasts. • Ensure high-quality sound, lighting, video, and visual presentation that support the worship experience. • Collaborate with the Worship Pastors and Creative Teams to plan, design, and execute service elements and stage environments. • Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade production equipment and systems as needed. Service and Event Execution • Develop and manage service run sheets, cues, and transitions. • Oversee rehearsals and sound checks to ensure technical readiness. • Coordinate production support for church-wide events (conferences, concerts, outreach events, etc.). Administration and Stewardship • Manage the production budget, ensuring wise stewardship of resources. • Oversee inventory, maintenance, and replacement schedules for all technical gear. • Ensure compliance with safety, copyright, and licensing standards.
