Our City Church is seeking a full time worship pastor to enhance the weekend service experience. In collaboration with the Lead Pastor(s) this person will be a part of the Leadership team of our church.As the Worship Pastor at Our City Church, you’ll have the support of a staff team that truly feels like family. It’s our desire for you step into your role confidently + hit the ground running leading our team of servant leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, vision, and passion for Our City Church in the areas of worship + music ministry that is in line with the overall vision, purpose, + mission of our church.
- Must be proficient in team building, volunteer recruitment, and leadership over teams comprised of both staff + servant leaders
- Proficient in leading worship with a strong vocal + instrumental ability accompanied by an authentic stage presence.
- Attend weekly Staff Meeting
- Facilitate weekend worship services including but not limited to:
- Leading weekend worship services vocally + musically
- Commitment to beliefs, mission + core values
- Assist in developing current + future worship teams
- Scheduling instrumentalists + vocalists in Planning Center
- Lead weekly campus rehearsals
- Consult with the Lead Pastor(s) to coordinate worship theme
- Design + build tracks for weekend services in Ableton
- Collaborate with Staff in the planning of big services-Christmas, Easter + Friends + Family
- Excitement about the idea of building not only the worship ministry but contributing to the growth of the church overall.
This position reports directly to Lead Pastors
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years ministry experience in a church or worship setting
- Must be musically proficient (have an understanding of basic music theory) + be able to lead vocally
- Have the ability to coach + lead a band
- Be proficient in the following tools: Planning Center, ProPresenter, Ableton or willing to learn
- Knowledge of digital audio systems + software preferred
Compensation:
