As a Social Media Specialist, you will develop and implement our Social Media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and community-building efforts. You will report to the Creative Director and work closely with the Online Pastor to inspire and engage the church audience. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a Social Media Specialist, excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media platforms, and experience creating and editing high-quality content for Facebook and Instagram.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, and videos), including sermon clips, scriptures, encouragement, behind-the-scenes footage, upcoming services and events, church information, and promotion.
- Communicate with followers, stay current with digital technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications, and monitor social media metrics to determine effectiveness and engagement.
