Videographer and Content Editor

As a Videographer and Content Editor, you are an integral member of the Film team. Videographer and Content Editor is responsible for working closely with our marketing team to film and edit compelling content. They will collaborate with our filmmakers to edit our ongoing content including social posts, in-service videos, and supporting ministry videos. They will also oversee and edit the service and sermon content that will be posted on the website and social platforms.

How You’ll Succeed:

  • Collaborate with our Social Media Specialist to film and edit compelling social media content
  • Edit ongoing content including event recaps, in-service videos, and supporting ministry videos
  • Oversee and edit the service and sermon content that will be posted on our website and social platforms.
  • Stay on top of editing trends
  • Take feedback well and edit with quick turnaround times
  • Respond to emails and phone calls within 24 hours of being in the office
  • Perform related duties as assigned
  • Strive to improve personal and professional skills by looking for and participating in learning opportunities
  • Attend a weekly service to stay in tune with the direction of Connection Pointe and to continue developing spiritually

What We Are Looking For:

  • A portfolio that includes filming and editing samples is required 1-2 years or more of content creation experience preferred
  • Proficient with Davinci Resolve
  • Experience filming and editing engaging social media content
  • Competent knowledge of lighting equipment and using cinema cameras
  • A collaborative team player who can also work well independently

Bonus Points:

Experience in a megachurch or large non-profit

Where You’ll Be:

You will primarily be in an office environment primarily on a computer for prolonged periods of time. Physical demands mainly include, walking, climbing stairs, sitting or standing for long periods of time and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Where You’ll Go:

As a team, we are going into the world daily! This position may also occasionally require some overnight travel for retreats and conferences. Overall, the travel requirement for this position is <20%.
