AV Arts Director

Hope Church Rochester, New York | $50,000 — $55,000 Full-time

Seeking a Lead Audio/Visual Technician with a heart for discipleship, a passion for gospel-centered ministry, and proven skill in organizational leadership and management. As AV Arts Director, you will oversee live and recorded audio production during weekly worship service broadcasts and various other events.

This role will include ensuring all facilities/campuses and ministries can utilize audio/visual equipment, effectively and strategically in order to enhance the experience of those attending.

Responsibilities:

Support the vision, mission and goals of Hope Church by overseeing and coordinating all aspects of live technical production including, but not limited to audio, video, lighting, staging, recordings, power and rigging.
Engineer sound for all weekend services and special events
Recruit, train, schedule and disciple volunteers to effectively run and operate all aspects of Production Teams for all Hope Services and Special Events
Responsible for all aspects of Stage Production for both in person and online.
Serve as Liaison between Worship Ministry and other ministries

Excellent leadership capabilities including interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with a diverse group of people
Passionate developer of people and processes
Strategic thinker
Innate problem solver with the ability to think in detail while still seeing the big picture
Willingness to network with other churches and industry experts to determine best practices for ministries
Excellent planner with the ability to understand bandwidth and set priorities to steward time, energy, and resources independently and responsibly
Organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to listen attentively and verbalize effectively to ensure that the intended meaning, feeling, focus and details of issues, events and collateral pieces are communicated with excellence.
Good conflict resolution skills and great customer service/people skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in software applications, such as Planning Center, Google Workspace, ProPresenter, Logic.
