Lead Audio Engineer

New Hope West Eugene, Oregon Full-time

New Hope West is a vibrant church community, over three thousand strong, that serves as a training ground for the next generation of Christian leaders and a beacon of hope to the Eugene-Springfield area. We are looking for someone whose passion is creating life-changing worship experiences through the pursuit of audio excellence to be our next Lead Audio Engineer.

To accomplish this, they will:

Lead the execution of audio elements for all New Hope events and services.
Recruit, equip, encourage, and disciple volunteers on the audio team.
Produce the signature New Hope sound in accordance with the vision of the executive team and Engineer-in-Residence.
Receive mentorship from the Engineer-in-Residence and continue to grow in excellence.
Schedule and ensure audio coverage for New Hope services and events, keeping Planning Center up to date for all audio positions.
Collaborate with the Technical Director in maintaining and developing best practices for our audio equipment, systems, and spaces.

The ideal candidate for this position has:

2+ years of experience in live audio mixing, broadcast audio and/or music production. and the ability to mix live audio to a high degree of excellence.
Proficiency with digital and analogue audio consoles (preferably from Allen & Heath) and audio software (e.g. ProTools, Ableton, Waves, and Dante).
The technical ability to understand and troubleshoot audio networking, equipment, and workflows.
A heart for serving the Lord and strong spiritual maturity.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude for navigating dynamic environments.
Effective multi-tasking, time management, and strong attention to detail.
