KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead weekend services to help all people know God and serve others, thinking through the lens of someone who is new to church and far from God.
- Lead the worship planning process to create, plan, and implement worship experiences.
- Oversee recruiting, training, onboarding, scheduling, development, and care of the Worship Team.
- Work closely with the online and tech leader to implement and ensure excellence.
POTENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee communications, social media or another ministry area based on skill set and/or experience.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in staff meetings, denominational activities/meetings, and Irresistible Church Network (North Point Church/Ministries) activities as directed by the Lead Pastor.
- Support other First Naz ministry areas as needed.
- Participate in weddings, funerals, and other functions as needed.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Has the ability to lead well vocally.
- Is clearly articulate - who has the ability to feel comfortable on stage where it is natural for them to speak between songs, pray, set up different elements of the service, etc.
- Is creative - who has the ability to take the Lead Pastor’s “big idea” (given 6-12 weeks in advance) and creatively plan worship services using a variety of experiential elements centered around the big idea. Creativity over time is critical.
- Is a magnetic leader - who has the ability to lead the existing team well and draw new team members.
