Looking for a full time, spirit-filled and dedicated Youth Pastor to join our Church family. Church on the Move is Bible believing, faith filled, family focused, and ready to serve our community. The ideal candidate must have a heart for working with young people, and a desire to share the love of Jesus with them. They will be responsible for leading our youth ministry, which includes teaching, discipleship, outreach, and fellowship activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain a Youth Leadership Team, including both staff and volunteers. Recruit, train, and shepherd all student ministry volunteers.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive youth ministry program that meets the spiritual needs of our students.
- Teaching and preaching the Word of God in a way that is engaging and relevant to young people.
- Building relationships with parents and families to create a supportive and cohesive community.
- Build relationships with students by being an active presence in local middle/high schools (as allowed) with periodic visits engaging students on their school campus.
- Creating a fun and welcoming environment that encourages students to grow in their relationship with Jesus and with one another.
Qualifications:
- A deep and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Experience in youth ministry or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and parents
- Must be called to the ministry
- Salary is based upon experience.
